PHIL AND PAM VOGT

In the stamp industry for over 40 years

Phil and Pam Vogt, together have over 40 years of philatelic knowledge.

Phil began his career in 1974, working for Richard Wolfer's Auction House, which had just purchased Honolulu Stamp and Coin, containing one of the world's largest Hawaii inventories. It was here, Phil began his study of stamps from the Islands, processing material for auction. In 1980, he started a new chapter, partnering up with John Peters, and traveling attending multiple trade shows every year.

Pam had also pursued a career in philatelics at a young age, as both she and her father took interest. Together, in 1977, they opened their first location in Sunnyvale. With business rapidly expanding, they bought a second location in Carmel.

In 1983, Pam and Phil married, as well as, became lifelong business partners. By 1985, they were owners of Vogtstamps, with a location in Sunnyvale, and averagin close to 30 trade shows a year. They have always dealt in worldwide, but have specialized in U.S. After moving twice more, they found their current location in Burlingame, CA.

After decades of business, Pam and Phil are happy to narrow their focus on Hawaii, which they both are experts.
